RE-INVENTION HOUSE
Re-Invention house is a metamorphosis of Re-Invention, Upgate, Louth that was established in 2008 by Jak Bakewell. Designed to be a revolutionary salon to support the high end of the market. Within the beautiful market town of Louth, Re-Invention House is a "concept salon" offering a truly unique experience between stylist and guest not seen before in either Louth or the city.

Jak
Jak is the salon owner and founder of Re-Invention. Jak established the brand Re-Invention in 2008 as a salon dedicated to all aspects of hairdressing, set in beautiful surroundings. Since then, the salon has grown from strength to strength. Jak has 14 years in-salon experience including, for much of that time leading a team of up to 8 stylists. Jak is also a qualified colour educator for Davines, training fellow salons from Lincolnshire to Scotland.
Jak loves to travel and exchange travel experiences with his guests as well as always being up for a good debate. Just don't mention the weather... In his spare time, Jak likes the quiet life in the country with regular bursts of the city. Jak is happiest surrounded by friends and family.
What Jak says about his work, "I love my job, I get to make people feel good and in turn they make me feel great. I love to learn from all the different guests I meet in the salon and their advice normally takes me to some amazing places on my travels. My work runs through my veins and I am so lucky to be able to get up everyday, excited about the people I will see and the hair I will create. I simply can not wait to welcome guests old and new to Re-Invention House to show everyone what I have been up to. I hope you love it as much as me."
Scott
Scott has had the privilege of working alongside Jak since 2011, helping to expand and manage the Re-Invention brand as co-Style Director. With over 16 years working and training within high end, luxury salons, Scott has a plethora of experience, knowledge and creativity. Boasting an impressive CV of work ranging from stage and competition work to editorial styling for consumer publications, Scott is a stylist in demand, now choosing to concentrate solely on managing an extremely full and busy client base.
Scott says, "I'm incredibly lucky to be able to earn a living doing something I love so much. Hair has always been a great passion of mine. Even as a child I would spend hours making my younger sisters sit whilst I played with and styled their hair, much to their annoyance but the definite appreciation of my busy working mum. Throughout my career, I have been blessed with many amazing opportunities which have enabled me to hone my craft and be the best I can be. I believe my strengths lie in being able to translate editorial, fashion forward hair into consumer friendly and wearable styles that work for each individual. I think my clients would describe me as fun, approachable, happy and honest! Oh, and good at what I do, I hope!!!"
Away from the salon, Scott enjoys keeping fit.You will often see him running around Louth, usually training for his next challenge. Be that a muddy obstacle course or a half marathon, he isn't fussy.
